Cancellation Policy

Payment is due in full at the time of the visit via check or cash. We do not accept credit cards at the present time. You will be billed in full for missed/no show appointments.

To avoid cancellation charges:

1. Medication Only Patients:
Please provide us with a 2 business day notice about the cancellation.

2. Established Psychotherapy Patients:
Dr. Obolsky utilizes a specific scheduling protocol to ensure patient commitment to psychotherapy, therefore, psychotherapy appointments are scheduled on at least a weekly basis, and the specific days and times are reserved in advance to facilitate patient’s progress in treatment.

To avoid cancellation charge, please cancel your appointment 2 business days prior to your appointment day and we will attempt to reschedule you within one week without having you incur a cancellation charge. You will be billed for the cancelled appointment if you or our office are unable to reschedule you within one week of the cancelled appointment.

Cancellations are accepted via phone on the 312-456-0225 line. Any cancellation made after 4 p.m. on a regular business day will be counted as a next day cancellation.

Administrative office hours for cancellation purposes are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Clinical appointments may be scheduled outside of the above noted administrative office hours and will depend on Dr. Obolsky’s availability.
