Psychological and Neuropsychological Testing

The purpose of psychological/neuropsychological testing is to assist in evaluation of personality and emotional difficulties and to identify cognitive challenges. An extensive history will be taken and your needs will be assessed before any testing decisions are made.

Through these tests, Dr. Obolsky and our team of professionals may diagnose:

  • learning disabilities
  • attention deficit disorder
  • memory loss, short-term and long-term
  • thinking problems
  • information retention difficulties
  • concentration problems
  • executive functioning difficulties
  • visual and spatial disabilities
  • organization problems

We also test for:

  • IQ
  • language skills
  • emotional functioning
  • coping skills
  • trauma and stress

Please advise us at the time of your initial appointment if testing has been completed at other facilities so we may use the results as part of our diagnostic process.
